September 25th, 2022- Rio won Winner's Dog and Best Of Winners for a 3 point major Friday under judge Bridget Brown; RWD Saturday under Mr. Darryl Vice; and WD & BOW Sunday under Mr. Cledith Wakefield for another 3 point major! We're so proud and excited he's already knocked out both majors at only 6 months of age! ALL 3 judges gave him glowing compliments. We are beyond pleased with how this gorgeous boy is growing up and performing.

 

December 4, 2022- NEW CHAMPION!!! I didn't get around to updating for each win but Rio finished his AKC Championship December 4, 2022; the day he turned 9 months old; with a 4 point major on top of (3) 3 point majors and 2 points from the 6-9 month class. Exclusively handled by our own Barbara Lawson.

Mid 2023- Rio went back out as a special at about 12 months of age and knocked out all 4 of his champion defeats and 3 of 4 majors needed to complete his grand championship in one weekend (4 days).

March 2024- Rio sired his first litter! 7 puppies; 4 females and 3 males.

June 2025- Rio has been hanging out the last couple years while we work on finishing championships on other dogs but now that he is 3 years old, we plan to get him back out soon to pick up those last few points he needs for his grand. We are so impressed with how he has matured, his confident disposition, and how his first litter is turning out. We kept 2 girls whom are 15 months old now and are absolutely lovely. One boy went to a wonderful performance home in Florida and already has quite a few performance titles behind his name! The other four pups are doing amazing in loving pet homes.
